We're Back!!!

We got back on Friday night from Disney World!! We had an awesome time and made lots of memories. I hope to have some pictures up and tell you all about it in the next couple of days. I am trying to dig out from under at work today!! Oh, I wish I were still at Disney!

8 is great!!

Today is Hannah's 8Th Birthday! My goodness time has flown.

Today is kind of our day isn't it. 8 years ago right now You had just come into this world, and I remember holding you and just being in awe. I remember thinking how much you look like your dad., how little your hands were. That night your dad made a bed and took you from me and he laid with you and just stared. We just couldn't believe that our love had made a little human being. You are the one who made us parents, and we have enjoyed watching you grow. You have so many gifts and talents Hannah. I have never met a child that loves animals like you do, and people for that matter. One of my proudest moments as a mother so far was when we were at the Buddy Walk for Downs syndrome and you walked so proudly and I was was proud to be by your side. I remember you said " Mom. we just care for special people don't we?". Such a profound thought for a little girl. I love you and I love being your mom. I have said it many times but If I wasn't your mother, I would still want to be your friend. I can't wait to see what you do next kid!!!!

Colin: Because, I used Lily's for curly shampoo and now my hair will get all curly like a girl, so I have to cut it all off.

Birthday Boy!!

Today is Big Daddy's birthday!! The big 3-0!!! We had a little cook out for him on Saturday but wouldn't you know my camera died!! We had a cake with a fire engine on it since he is my sexy firefighter. I have been so lucky to be with him and love him for these past 10 years. He is the best dad I know, and my best friend. All this time later he is the first person I want to tell when I have news and when he is on shift I genuinely miss having him in bed as I go to sleep. We have the same sarcastic sense of humor and the same temper ( which always makes for a good time). I can't imagine my life with out him, even the thought makes me sick. Jason, I love you. Happy Birthday and don't worry you are only getting sexier as you age!!!!
